About the Programme
The South South BPO Workforce Development Programme seeks to equip young people across the South South region with industry-relevant skills for employment in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), technology-enabled services, and creative industries.
The programme will adopt a training-to-jobs approach through employer partnerships, internships, apprenticeships, remote work opportunities, and entrepreneurship pathways.
The programme includes large-scale beneficiary mobilisation, employer engagement, curriculum co-creation, job placement, and stakeholder coordination across the South South region.
Role Summary
The Programmes Associate will provide operational, administrative, and coordination support for the successful implementation of programme activities across beneficiary recruitment, training delivery, stakeholder engagement, employment initiatives, monitoring activities, and reporting processes.
The role will support programme teams in ensuring efficient programme execution, participant management, documentation, logistics coordination, data management, and stakeholder communication.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring programme activities are delivered effectively and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Coordination and Support:
Support planning, coordination, and implementation of programme activities.
Assist with beneficiary onboarding, participant management, and programme administration.
Coordinate programme schedules, meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
Support implementation teams in tracking programme activities and deliverables.
Participant Management:
Maintain participant databases and programme records.
Support beneficiary registration, screening, onboarding, and engagement activities.
Monitor participant attendance, participation, and progression.
Respond to beneficiary enquiries and support communication activities.
Logistics and Event Coordination:
Support logistics planning for training sessions, meetings, workshops, and events.
Coordinate venue arrangements, materials distribution, participant communication, and event administration.
Support travel coordination and operational logistics where required.
Ensure timely availability of programme resources and materials.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain programme documentation, records, and filing systems.
Prepare activity reports, meeting minutes, implementation updates, and administrative reports.
Support data collection and reporting processes.
Assist in compiling donor reports and programme documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
Support communication with beneficiaries, trainers, employers, partners, and stakeholders.
Coordinate stakeholder meetings and follow-up actions.
Maintain stakeholder contact databases and communication records.
Support outreach and engagement activities as required.

Required Qualifications
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting programme implementation, project coordination, participant management, logistics, administration, or stakeholder engagement activities.
Experience supporting workforce development, education, skills development, employment, or donor-funded programmes is desirable.
Strong organisational, documentation, and coordination skills.
Experience working with programme reporting and administrative systems.
