Job Title: Hotel General Manager

About the Role

• Our client is seeking an experienced and highly competent Hotel General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of hotel operations.
• The ideal candidate must possess a proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, driving revenue growth, improving guest satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
• Develop and implement business strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
• Drive business development initiatives and establish partnerships that enhance the hotel’s market presence.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest standards of customer service.
• Monitor and manage hotel budgets, financial performance, and operational costs.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise departmental managers and staff.
• Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Analyze market trends and implement strategies to remain competitive within the hospitality industry.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a Hotel General Manager.
• Extensive experience managing hotel operations within the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience working in hotels located in Lagos is highly preferred.
• Strong business development and revenue-generation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to improve hotel profitability and operational performance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial management, budgeting, and reporting capabilities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with experience managing hotels within Lagos Island or other parts of Lagos will have a strong advantage.
• Results-oriented professional with a history of achieving revenue and growth targets.

Salary
N500,000 - N700,000 / month.
