Hilary Says is a beauty and skincare companycommitted to simplifying the beauty industry through science-based education and recommendations. The company specializes in skincare products that address specific skin concerns, using high-performance formulations. Their approach focuses on ingredient analysis and published scientific research to provide reliable product recommendations, helping customers make informed skincare choices.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Engage walk-in clients and provide personalized product recommendations based on their skincare needs.
  • Drive sales by actively promoting products, treatments, and ongoing promotions
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via in-store conversations, phone, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Provide accurate information about products, treatment offerings, and pricing to guide client decisions.
  • Follow up with clients after purchases or treatments to check satisfaction, encourage reorders, and gather feedback.
  • Manage and resolve complaints with empathy, ensuring timely and appropriate service recovery.
  • Document interactions, sales activities, and client feedback accurately in the CRM system.
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisors or technical/clinical staff as required.
  • Support client retention efforts through rebooking, referral prompts, loyalty program invitations, and membership sales.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new arrivals and training provided.
  • Ensure the store environment is welcoming, well-organized, and compliant with customer communication and sales protocols.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Business Administration, Marketing or related field with 1–3 years’ experience in sales customer service focused role.
  • Previous experience in retail, wellness, healthcare or spa is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high message volumes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and customer empathy.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and record management.
  • Knowledge of skincare products and treatment options (training will be provided).
