Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our Truck Transport division.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers to ensure fleet reliability, safety, and minimal downtime.

Responsibilties

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on trucks and trailers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and component replacements.
• Troubleshoot faults using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Overhaul major components and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE / O-Level Certificate.
• Trade Test Certificate or Technical/Vocational qualification in Automobile, Mechanical, or Heavy-Duty Vehicle Maintenance is an added advantage.
• 4-8 years' experienceas a Heavy-Duty Mechanic working on trucks, trailers, or commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and vehicle electrical systems.
• Experience with fleet maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
