We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Officer (Abattoir Operation)

Locations: Adamawa & Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the abattoir to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Visit multiple field locations daily.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers.
• Gather market intelligence and report findings.
• Follow up consistently with existing contacts.
• Identify business opportunities and facilitate transactions.
• Submit daily operational reports.
• Expand supplier networks within assigned territories.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Fluency in local languages such as Hausa is mandatory).
• Must be comfortable working in livestock markets, abattoirs/slaughter houses, agricultural environments and outdoor field locations.
• Must be physically fit and willing to move between multiple locations daily.
• Must be willing to work with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with the company's reporting requirements.
