Job Title: Administrative Officer (Legal & Compliance)

Location: Sabon-Lugbe, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Mode: On-site

Role Overview

  • Codelabprojects Nigeria Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Officer (Legal & Compliance) to support the company's administrative, legal, and compliance functions.
  • The ideal candidate must possess a Law degree and have practical knowledge of commercial law, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) documentation, insurance administration, and Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) processes.
  • The successful candidate will ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient administrative support across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations and office documentation.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain legal and corporate records.
  • Handle CAC registrations, post-incorporation filings, annual returns, and other corporate documentation.
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and official correspondence.
  • Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate employee insurance and HMO enrollment, renewals, claims, and related documentation.
  • Maintain company licenses, permits, and statutory records.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies, legal advisers, insurance providers, and other external stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidential records and ensure proper document management.
  • Perform research and provide administrative support on legal and compliance matters.
  • Support management with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an administrative, legal, or compliance role.
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Law and corporate governance principles.
  • Practical experience with CAC documentation and corporate filings.
  • Knowledge of insurance administration and HMO processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and record management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Only candidates residing within Lugbe, Airport Road, Galadimawa, Apo, Lokogoma, Gudu, and nearby areas will be considered.

Salary
