Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Manager to join our growing consulting practice.
The successful candidate will have 12–15 years of professional experience, with a significant portion gained within a global consulting firm or a reputable indigenous consulting firm.
The role requires a strong consulting professional with proven expertise in strategy development, business transformation, organisational effectiveness, operating model design, change management, and business performance improvement.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading consulting engagements from opportunity identification through proposal development, project execution, client relationship management, and engagement closure.
The individual will also play a key role in business development, practice growth, thought leadership, and mentoring consulting teams.
This position requires a commercially minded consulting leader capable of delivering end-to-end assignments while contributing significantly to the firm's revenue growth and market positioning.
Lead and manage consulting assignments from initiation to completion.
Deliver end-to-end consulting engagements including diagnostics, strategy formulation, transformation planning, implementation support, and performance monitoring.
Develop practical recommendations and implementation roadmaps that drive measurable business outcomes.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, timeline, quality standards, and budget.
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining service excellence.
Business Transformation & Change Management:
Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across strategy, operations, people, processes, and technology.
Support clients in organizational restructuring, operating model redesign, process optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
Design and implement change management strategies that drive stakeholder adoption and business results.
Facilitate leadership alignment and stakeholder engagement throughout transformation programs.
Strategy Development & Execution:
Lead strategic planning engagements and support clients in translating strategy into execution.
Conduct market, industry, competitor, and organizational assessments.
Develop business growth strategies, operational improvement plans, and transformation frameworks.
Monitor implementation progress and ensure realization of intended benefits.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives and senior business leaders.
Serve as the primary engagement lead for key client accounts.
Understand client priorities and proactively identify opportunities to create additional value.
Drive client satisfaction and long-term relationship development.
Business Development & Practice Growth:
Lead business development initiatives and contribute to revenue generation targets.
Identify new consulting opportunities and convert leads into engagements.
Develop high-quality proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
Participate in networking activities, industry forums, conferences, and strategic partnerships.
Support the development of new service offerings and consulting solutions.
Contribute to the firm's brand positioning and market expansion efforts.
Team Leadership & Capability Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop consultants and project teams.
Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and client-focused culture.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives within the consulting practice.
Key Qualifications & Experience
Education & Professional Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Management, or a related discipline.
MBA, Master's Degree, or other relevant postgraduate qualification is highly preferred.
Professional certifications in Project Management, Change Management, Strategy, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or related disciplines are advantageous.
Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.
Experience:
12–15 years of professional experience, with significant experience in management consulting.
Experience working with a global consulting firm or a leading indigenous consulting firm is required.
Demonstrated experience leading and delivering consulting engagements from proposal stage through execution and project closure.
Proven track record in strategy, transformation, organisational development, performance improvement, and change management projects.
Strong business development experience with evidence of revenue generation and client acquisition.

Develops and implements business strategies and leads large-scale transformation initiatives that deliver measurable results.
Brings expertise in organisational design, operating model transformation, process improvement, and performance management.
Applies strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, diagnosing business challenges and using data-driven insights to shape strategic decisions.
Builds trusted advisory relationships with senior executives through strong influence, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
Has a proven track record winning consulting opportunities, with strong proposal writing, pitching, and a valuable professional network.
Leads high-performing teams, with strong coaching, mentoring, and people management to develop talent.
Communicates and facilitates exceptionally, translating complex concepts clearly for executive audiences.
Holds broad industry knowledge and quickly grasps client business environments and dynamics.
