We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Griller

Location: Cross River
Reports to: Grill Supervisor / Kitchen Supervisor
Direct Reports: Nil

Main Function

• The Griller will be responsible for preparing grilled meals and maintaining food quality standards within the kitchen operations.
• The role involves food preparation, grill station management, adherence to hygiene standards, and ensuring timely service delivery.

Role Responsibilities
Food Preparation and Cooking:

• Prepare and grill food items according to company recipes and standards.
• Ensure proper food presentation and portion control.
• Maintain consistency in food quality and taste.
• Monitor cooking temperatures and food safety procedures.

Kitchen Operations and Hygiene:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of grill stations.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
• Support kitchen preparation and closing routines.

Inventory and Operational Support:

• Monitor grill supplies and report shortages.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain operational efficiency.
• Support teamwork within kitchen operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education and Certifications: Minimum of SSCE
• Experience: 2 – 4 years’ experience as a griller or cook.
• Must have relevant experience in restaurant, lounge, hotel, or hospitality kitchen operations.

Skills:

Culinary and Operational Skills

• Strong grilling and food preparation skills.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.

Teamwork and Professionalism:

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
