We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Floor Sales Supervisor

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Floor Sales Supervisor to oversee daily sales floor operations, supervise sales staff, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining high merchandising standards, ensuring product availability, supervising floor staff, and supporting the Branch Manager in achieving sales and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily activities of sales associates to ensure efficient and effective floor operations.
  • Monitor and drive sales performance to achieve individual and branch sales targets.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by assisting customers and resolving complaints or escalated issues promptly.
  • Coordinate staff schedules and allocate responsibilities to ensure adequate floor coverage.
  • Monitor product displays, merchandising standards, and promotional activities to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensure Productsare fully stocked, properly priced, and stock shortages are reported promptly.
  • Train, coach, and mentor sales staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Monitor staff attendance, discipline, grooming, and overall performance.
  • Conduct regular floor inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company standards.
  • Work closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Support the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in implementing sales campaigns and operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience in retail sales, merchandising, or customer service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and motivate teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Good knowledge of merchandising, inventory management, and retail operations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, where required.
