VivaFemini is a FemTech startup building an integrated ecosystem of digital care, lifecycle tracking, and verified health networks to empower African women to take confident control of their health.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Field Sales Manager

Location: Nigeria

The Role

  • We are seeking a battle-tested Field Sales Manager to lead our offline expansion across Nigeria.
  • We are not looking for a traditional office manager; we need a rugged, field-first leader from the FMCG, Fintech, or Real Estate sectors who knows how to dominate a territory and drive high-volume user acquisition through grassroots activations and strategic partnerships.
  • You will be the engine of our growth, responsible for building and leading a high-performance team of direct sales agents to deliver thousands of verified app installs monthly.
  • You will spend the majority of your time in the field, leading from the front, coaching your team, and ensuring every download translates into an active, logged-in user.

Key Responsibilities
Field Force Leadership & Direct Sales Management:

  • Agent Recruitment & Onboarding Recruit, onboard, and manage a high-performance team of 20+ Field Sales Agents. You are responsible for their daily output, discipline, and conversion quality.
  • Performance Coaching: Lead from the front. Spend at least 60% of your time in the field, shadowing agents to refine their pitch, demonstrate effective closing techniques, and ensure they are converting effectively.
  • Team Motivation & Discipline: Set clear daily and weekly KPIs for agents, provide regular feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary. You must be able to motivate and, when necessary, offboard field agents based on performance data.

High-Velocity Offline Acquisition:

  • Territory Dominance: Plan and execute aggressive physical activations at high-traffic hubs such as markets, religious centres, campuses, hospitals, and community clusters.
  • Full Conversion Cycle: You are responsible for the full conversion cycle, ensuring users don't just download the app but successfully complete their first health log.
  • Funnel Optimisation: Monitor the journey from "Pitch" to "Install" to "First Log". Identify bottlenecks in the field and fix them in real-time to lower the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).

Institutional Partnership Acquisition:

  • B2B2C Deals: Identify, negotiate, and close B2B2C contracts with clinics, pharmacies, diagnostic labs, schools, and corporate employers to onboard large user cohorts.
  • Bulk Installs: Negotiate and close "bulk install" deals with organisations where we can onboard hundreds of users in a single activation.

Operational Rigour & Reporting:

  • CRM Discipline: Maintain 100% data integrity within the CRM tool. You will track every agent's location, every lead captured, and every install verified. No data, no credit.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide daily and weekly growth reports to the Director of Growth & Operations. You must be able to explain the "why" behind the numbers and provide accurate forecasts for the coming month.
  • Market Intelligence: Act as the primary "eyes and ears" on the ground. Provide weekly reports on competitor activity, pricing shifts in the market, and user barriers to adoption.

Budget & Incentive Management:

  • Manage the regional growth budget and agent commission structures, ensuring maximum ROI by cutting underperforming channels and doubling down on winning tactics.

Who You Are

  • You are a "Hunter" with a rugged, field-first mentality. You are comfortable in the trenches, navigating the complexities of Nigerian field operations from local logistics to technical connectivity issues. You are excited by the challenge of building a market from scratch.
  • Experience: 5+ years of "rugged" operations or sales management experience in high-velocity sectors (FMCG, Fintech, or Gig-economy / Ride-hailing).
  • Team Leadership: Proven track record of managing large teams of field agents or brand ambassadors in the Nigerian market.
  • Scale Mindset: Proven ability to manage teams that deliver high-volume targets (thousands of units/users monthly).
  • Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, or proprietary sales-force tools) and Google Sheets/Excel.
  • Communication: Ability to simplify complex product features into a "30-second pitch" that converts a stranger into a user. Ability to pitch to both a C-Suite Executive in a boardroom and a crowd of women in a local market.
  • Mission-Driven: You are deeply passionate about women's health and equality. Experience in health, wellness, or social impact campaigns is a strong advantage.
  • Problem-Solver: You can overcome difficult field conditions to hit targets, embrace ambiguity, and rapidly learn from mistakes.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: N300,000 per month
  • Performance Commission: N300,000 - N700,000 per month (based on team activation and partnership targets)
  • Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): N600,000 - N1,000,000 per month.
