Job Title: Chief of Staff

About the Role

• As Chief of Staff, you will oversee the organization's operational engine, ensuring governance structures, portfolio execution, leadership accountability, and institutional processes are consistently delivered at the highest standard.
• This role requires someone who can make decisions,solve complex problems, and lead without waiting for direction.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Governance:

• Lead the organization's operational accountability framework across business units.
• Monitor business performance through structured reporting and executive scorecards.
• Identify operational risks and recommend timely corrective actions.
• Prepare executive reports that provide clear visibility into organizational performance.

Governance & Institutional Excellence:

• Manage the corporate governance calendar, including executive meetings, board reporting, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate the preparation of executive and board documentation.
• Build and maintain institutional policies, governance frameworks, and operational documentation.
• Strengthen internal processes that improve organizational effectiveness and accountability.

Leadership & Talent:

• Oversee recruitment for key leadership and strategic roles.
• Coordinate executive hiring processes from sourcing through final recommendations.
• Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

Executive Office:

• Act as the Managing Director's execution partner, ensuring strategic priorities are implemented effectively.
• Prepare executive briefs, reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
• Manage executive priorities and streamline decision-making.
• Exercise delegated authority to resolve operational matters independently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years' progressive leadership experience with significant operational responsibility.
• Experience within at least two of the following sectors is highly desirable: (Energy, Technology, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Government or Development Finance Institutions (DFIs)).
• Professional qualification such as MBA, ICAN, ACA, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong financial literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational execution.
• Must be available to work full-time, on-site in Abuja.

Remuneration
N2,000,000.00(+ Incentives) monthly.
