Head of Information Technology at Critical Minerals Financing Corporation (CMFC)

The Critical Minerals Financing Corporation (CMFC) Plc, formerly known as DEAP Capital Management & Trust is an investment firm headquartered in Victoria Island, Lagos. Backed by a ₦6 billion capital injection from Banklink Africa, CMFC focuses on financing, capital structuring, and project development across Africa's critical minerals supply chain.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Information Technology

Location: Lagos
Job Type:F ull time

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will lead the institution’s technology strategy, digital infrastructure, cybersecurity architecture, enterprise systems, automation initiatives, and AI-enabled operational transformation across investment banking, commodity trading, structured finance, and institutional operations.

Requirements

• Relevant professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, PMP, ITIL, AWS, Microsoft, Cisco or equivalent) are advantageous
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in enterprise IT, financial technology, or digital infrastructure management
• Strong background in financial services technology, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and systems administration
• Experience implementing enterprise productivity platforms, workflow automation systems, AI-enabled operational tools, and institutional data environments
• Strong understanding of information security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance frameworks
• Experience managing technology vendors, software procurement, and enterprise architecture
• Knowledge of capital markets systems, treasury systems, ERP platforms, CRM systems, and digital collaboration tools is an advantage
• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within financial institutions, investment firms, or commodity trading environments preferred
