Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Description

• The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities.
• The role focuses on building lasting relationships with defense agencies, government procurement units, and private security firms to achieve business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company’s cybersecurity market presence.
• Identify and pursue new clients within government agencies, defense institutions, and private organizations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Lead proposal development, bids, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Revenue and margin targets achieved.
• Number and value of contracts/tenders won.
• Strength and conversion rate of sales pipeline.
• Growth in strategic partnerships and distribution channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Business or IT-related field (MBA is an advantage) with  3-4 years’ experience in business development, preferably in cybersecurity, ICT, or defense technology.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and market dynamics.
• Proven track record of achieving business growth targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and result-oriented professional.
• Ability to learn.
• Should be less than 30 years of age.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 / Month.
