Globa Heritage Insurance, A subsidiary of Sonora Capital Group is an insurance brokerage firm registered in Nigeria. It operates as a private company limited by shares and has been active since around 2005, offering insurance brokerage services to individuals and businesses.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Overview

• We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with at least 5 years of proven experience to drive business growth, expand our client base, and increase market share.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance sector.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Drive sales strategies to achieve business targets and revenue growth.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
• Prepare and present proposals, reports, and business plans to senior management.
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to enhance customer acquisition and retention.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Development Manager role, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and the brokerage landscape.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and implement solutions.

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
