Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• The role involves developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing actionable insights to improve business performance, operational efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.
• Monitor and analyze key business KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc management reports.
• Conduct sales, financial, operational, and customer data analysis to support business decisions.
• Perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
• Identify business opportunities and risks through data-driven insights.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operations to understand reporting needs.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes where possible.
• Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
