The organization envisions a society where sustainable peace drives development for all. GPD seek to build a peaceful society through gender equality, social justice, democracy and governance.

Background and Objective
Global Peace Development (GPD) seeks the services of a qualified contractor to provide drilling and installation of a solar water, and a perimeter fence.
The objective is to ensure access to clean water and improved sanitation facilities through the drilling of 5" diameter borehole.
Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks across the three specified LGAs:

Project Timeline
The contractor is expected to complete the drilling, installation of the solar water, and the perimeter fence within 30 days of the contract start date.
Deliverables
A fully functional 5" borehole (90-120 meters) with a solar-powered submersible pump in Ukpude community, Isoko South LGA
Water quality reports from water testing from a Government approved laboratory.
Qualification Criteria
Proven experience in borehole drilling and solar water systems
Ability to mobilize and complete the work within the set timeline.
Adequate resources and technical expertise for solar water connection.
Compliance with all local environmental and health standards.
Supervision and Reporting:
The contractor will work under the supervision of Global Peace Development’s project team.
Evaluation Criteria:
Quotations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Compliance with the provided scope of work.
Cost-effectiveness.
Quality of materials and production.
Ability to meet the specified deadlines.
Previous experience in similar projects.
Reference from previous work on Water and hygiene stations will be an added advantage.

Interested contractors must submit their quotation, including the following:
Detailed cost breakdown.
Work plan and timeline.
Company profile and relevant experience.
SEA and Safeguarding:
By this engagement, GPD is committed to preventing any form of sexual harassment, exploitation, and abuse (including child abuse and adult at-risk abuse) and responding robustly when these harms take place in line with our zero-tolerance approach to Safeguarding concerns.
Conflict of interest:
Is a situation in which a person is in a position to derive personal benefit from actions or decisions made in their official capacity that has the potential to undermine the impartiality of a person because of the possibility of a clash between the person’s interest, public interest, and professional interest
All vendors shall take all precautions necessary to avoid taking undue advantage of the project to satisfy personal interest and shall inform Global Peace Development immediately of any situation giving rise or that is likely to give rise to any such situation.
Both parties shall operate under the provisions of Accountability, learning, and planning Systems for this program.

GPD has a zero-tolerance culture towards fraud, corruption, and bribery: embedding this in all aspects of her work.

Payment Terms
Payments will be made in milestones as agreed upon during contract negotiation.
Withholding Tax will be deducted at source as applicable to companies in Nigeria.
