We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Analyst

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Capture, verify, and maintain accurate customer information in the company's database.
• Process customer loan applications from documentation review to disbursement and repayment monitoring.
• Book and manage customer investment requests while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Record and monitor placement transactions, including maturity dates and rollover activities.
• Post daily financial transactions, including loan disbursements, repayments, investments, rentals, and applicable charges.
• Perform daily transaction reviews, reconciliations, and call-over to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Carry out daily and monthly rental postings in accordance with approved financial schedules.
• Generate and manage REMITA mandates for customer loan repayments.
• Maintain complete physical and electronic customer records to support compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify operational discrepancies and escalate issues promptly for resolution.
• Support internal control processes and perform other operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in operations, finance, banking, or investment company IS A MUST
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Knowledge of loan management systems and financial transaction processing.
• Familiarity with REMITA mandate processing is an added advantage.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the financial services industry.
