Job Title: Civil Engineer (NYSC)
Location: Abuja (FCT)

Responsibilities
Undergo on-the-job training to understand the day-to-day operations on construction sites, including safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Support site supervisors in coordinating activities, managing resources, and ensuring that construction work meets specifications and requirements.
Learn and adhere to safety regulations, guidelines, and procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment for all personnel on the construction site.
Assist in conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and documenting construction activities to track project milestones and ensure compliance with project plans.
Learn to manage materials on-site, including inventory control, ordering supplies, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring proper storage and usage of construction materials.
Gain knowledge in monitoring work quality, conducting quality inspections, and assisting in ensuring that construction work meets industry standards and project specifications.
Collaborate with various departments and teams involved in the construction project, such as engineers, architects, and contractors, to facilitate smooth communication and coordination.
Assist in preparing project reports, maintaining records of site activities, and documenting any issues or discrepancies for review by site supervisors or project managers.
Learn to communicate with clients, address their inquiries, and provide updates on project progress as directed by senior staff.
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and educational programs to improve technical skills, knowledge of construction practices, and overall understanding of the industry.
Assist in identifying and resolving issues or challenges that arise during construction, working with senior staff to develop solutions and contribute to the project's success.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements related to construction to help maintain a smooth and lawful construction process.

Requirements
Must be currently enrolled with NYSC
B.Eng or HND Civil Engineering
Ready to learn and work.
Salary
N50,000 per month.
