We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: E-commerce Operations Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end operations of the company's e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
• Oversee both front-end and back-end e-commerce operations, ensuring platform availability, functionality, and performance.
• Work closely with developers and third-party vendors on system enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting.
• Manage integrations between the e-commerce platform, ERP, POS, Inventory Management System (IMS), Order Management System (OMS), payment gateways, and logistics partners.
• Monitor website performance, user experience, and system uptime, and recommend improvements.
• Lead order management, fulfilment, inventory synchronization, payment reconciliation, and returns management.
• Analyse operational and sales data to improve business performance and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for e-commerce operations.
• Ensure data accuracy, cybersecurity best practices, and compliance with company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop the e-commerce team to achieve operational and commercial objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in e-commerce operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end e-commerce operations, including order fulfilment, inventory management, customer experience, and marketplace operations.
• Hands-on experience managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar, including product uploads, catalogue management, pricing updates, promotions, and content management.
• Experience working with or supporting the integration of e-commerce platforms with ERP, POS, payment gateways, logistics providers, and inventory management systems.
• Good understanding of website content management and basic web technologies (HTML, CSS) and familiarity with APIs and system integrations. Knowledge of JavaScript or SQL is an added advantage but not required.
• Ability to work effectively with IT teams, software developers, and third-party vendors to implement, maintain, and enhance e-commerce solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, Excel, or similar.
• Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
