Job Title: Sales and Logistics Officer

Location: Akure, Ondo
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• We are looking for a Sales and Logistics Officer who willdriverevenue and ensures the seamless delivery of goods.
• Responsibilities include processing customer orders, managing inventory, coordinating shipments with freight carriers, and collaborating with the sales team to meet delivery timelines and customer satisfaction targets

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Customer Service:

• Process customer orders, issue invoices, and manage price lists.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients to resolve delivery issues or service disruptions.
• Collaborate with the ⁠Sales Team to forecast demand and secure repeat business.

Logistics & Distribution:

• Coordinate and track shipments from suppliers to warehouses or end-customers.
• Plan transportation routes and negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders to minimize costs.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, packing lists, and proof of delivery).
• Track Goods in Transit (GIT) and intervene to eliminate route inefficiencies or shipping delays

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking or stock-outs.
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate data in company

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in logistics, sales operations, or order management.
• Applicant must be resident in Akure.
• Skills: Strong negotiation and organizational skills, proficiency in ⁠Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to analyze data.
• Competencies: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and a customer-focused mindset
