Job Title: Mixologist

Location: Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• The Mixologist will lead the creative development, presentation, and delivery of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for Mai Shayi.
• This role combines artistry and technical skill in drink formulation, while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and reinforcing the brand’s unique identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and craft innovative beverages including signature cocktails, mocktails, infused drinks, and Nigerian-inspired blends using both alcoholic and non-alcoholic ingredients.
• Curate and update seasonal and themed drink menus in line with brand vision.
• Maintain consistency in recipe execution across locations and support recipe documentation.
• Conduct beverage tastings, bar staff training, and rollout of new drink programs.
• Ensure bar/lab stations are organized, sanitized, and well-stocked with quality-controlled ingredients and bar tools.
• Collaborate with the culinary team for pairing menus and flavor integration.
• Stay updated on global beverage trends, mixology innovations, and local preferences.
• Supervise responsible service of alcohol and ensure full compliance with local laws and in-house policies.
• Engage customers during events or tasting experiences and gather feedback for R&D.
• Manage inventory, bar costing, and loss control.
