Zion Empowerment Arena for the Needy Initiative (ZEANI) is a Non-Profit Institution (NPI) /Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). ZEANI signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka on 22nd February 2024. Paving ways for both ZEANI trainees and University students to earn National skill Qualifications, skill-based qualifications and degree on completion of their respective programmes. Our qualification is acceptable for Employment also enrollment in any university of your choice at both first year and second year without writing jamb. ZEANI has over fifty (50) partners that make our job easier.

Our Community Development Service Education (CDSE) programme is currently training 500 trainees sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education TVET Initiative under IDEAS Project and also Supported by the World bank. ZEANI has graduated over 1000 students since the inception of the programme in November 2017. The school is regulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), approved by the Federal and Enugu State Ministries of Education to provide Scholarship and Non-Scholarship programmes in Technical, Vocational Education & Training (TVET) at Senior Secondary and Tertiary Education.

On behalf of ZEANI board of trustees, the management and partners supporting ZEANI humanitarian work / interventions, we hereby announce our National Scholarship Award (NSA) for the 2026 / 2027 Secondary School SS1, SS2 and SSCE Holders.

Available Trade Title under this scholarship are:

• Fishery Craft
• Electrical Installation & Maintenance
• Motor Mechanic Work
• Computer Craft
• Electronics Works
• Catering Craft Practice.

Requirements

• Must be a Nigerian citizen with NIN, BVN and Bank Account
• Candidates that have completed senior Secondary Education
• Candidates should be able to afford work place maintenance cost, some living expenses such as accommodation and Personal protective equipment/Uniform and other mini consumables for practice respectively
• Police clearance report, parents/guardian undertaking, medical report from any government hospital (University of Nigeria Nsukka medical Center is also available for the service)
• Have interest in practice and passing examination
• Work place assignment, assessment and Classwork is compulsory

Duration:

• Candidates that have Completed Senior Secondary Education (ANTC / ANBC- One Year)
• Candidates that have Completed Junior Secondary Education (NTC / NBC -Three Years).

Value of the Scholarship Award

• The scholarship covers N5,000 monthly Stipend for one year only, free application, free full tuition for one year only and potential employment Opportunities after graduation.
