Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, trustworthy, and experienced Human Resource & Talent Manager to lead all people management functions within our organization.
The successful candidate will oversee employee relations, attendance, performance management, talent development, and workforce engagement across staff, interns, fellows, and volunteers.
This role requires someone who can work independently, maintain high levels of professionalism, and ensure accountability across the team, particularly in a fast-paced environment where leadership frequently operates remotely.
Responsibilities
Human Resource Management:
Oversee the day-to-day management of staff, interns, fellows, and volunteers.
Implement and maintain effective HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Performance & Talent Management:
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and overall workplace discipline.
Develop and implement performance management systems and evaluation processes.
Track employee performance and provide regular reports to management.
Identify training and development needs to improve staff performance.
Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee welfare and workplace concerns.
Resolve workplace issues professionally while promoting positive employee relations.
Support employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards of conduct.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning:
Coordinate recruitment activities for staff, interns, and volunteers as required.
Support workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives.
Assist in identifying and developing high-potential talent within the organization.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare weekly and monthly HR and performance reports.
Maintain confidential HR records and personnel files.
Provide management with data-driven insights on workforce performance and engagement.
Collaboration
Work closely with the Head of Operations and leadership team to achieve organizational objectives.
Recommend improvements to HR systems, policies, and people management practices.
Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, integrity, and accountability in all HR functions.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Must have 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Personnel Administration.
Experience managing diverse teams, including staff, interns, or volunteers, is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of performance management and employee relations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be resident in Abuja, Nigeria.

Additional Information:
