Job Description

• Are you an experienced Linux professional with a passion for building, securing, and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure?
• We are looking for a Senior Linux Administrator to join our growing team in Benin Republic. If you have 7+ years of hands-on experience managing enterprise Linux environments and thrive in delivering secure, high-performance infrastructure, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Install, configure, administer, and optimize enterprise Linux servers across production and non-production environments.
• Implement Linux server hardening using CIS Benchmarks and industry security best practices.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security patching, and timely remediation to maintain a secure infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact business operations.
• Manage Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), user accounts, access controls, SUDO policies, and authentication services.
• Administer virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM to support scalable and resilient infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain file systems, storage volumes, mount points, and enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux operating system, kernel, networking, storage, and performance-related issues through detailed root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Support high-availability environments, disaster recovery initiatives, and infrastructure resilience across mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, network, and infrastructure teams to implement secure, reliable, and compliant technology solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system configuration records.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of enterprise Linux administration experience
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and other Linux distributions
• Experience with virtualization, enterprise storage, networking, and infrastructure security
• Relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, LPIC, LFCS, or equivalent are highly desirable.
