Job Title: Auditor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and ethical Auditor to evaluate financial records, operational processes, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• The ideal candidate should have strong investigative skills and a thorough understanding of auditing principles and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial records, operational activities, and business processes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify potential risks.
• Review financial statements, transactions, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify discrepancies, irregularities, and areas for operational improvement.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with external audits and regulatory inspections when required.
• Advise management on risk management and internal control improvements.

Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years' experience in auditing, accounting, or internal control.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA, ACA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
