Job Title: Creative Head / Designer - Women's Ready to Wear Line

Description

• Are you passionate about fashion, trend forecasting, and creating commercially successful collections?
• We are looking for a creative to lead the design and creative direction of our female ready to wearline. This role is ideal for a visionary fashion professional who understands the balance between creativity, functionality, and market demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the creative vision for the female ready-to-wear brand.
• Research global and local fashion trends to create commercially viable collections.
• Design seasonal collections from concept to final production.
• Prepare mood boards, sketches, fabric selections, and technical design specifications.
• Work closely with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Oversee fittings, sample development, and product refinement.
• Ensure all collections align with the brand's identity, quality standards, and target market.
• Source fabrics, trims, and other materials while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on campaign concepts, product launches, and brand storytelling.
• Mentor and supervise the design team to maintain creativity, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experiencein women's ready-to-wear fashion, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing original ready-to-wear collections.
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, pattern development, and production processes.
• Strong understanding of fashion trends and the Nigerian fashion market.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet collection deadlines.

Salary
