Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Supervisor

Job Summary
Our Client is seeking a Quality Assurance Quality Control Supervisor to lead quality management initiatives within its workshop operations.
This role is integral to a company operating in the industrial manufacturing and maintenance sector, focusing on maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
The supervisor will develop and implement working instructions and procedures, provide theoretical training on quality standards, and ensure adherence to ISO standards and the Quality Management System.
Key responsibilities include conducting root cause analysis, managing documentation, liaising with external auditors, and driving continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
Candidates can expect to work closely with management, shop crews, and regulatory bodies while contributing to safety, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive Working Instructions and contribute to the creation of relevant Procedures for the workshop.
Ensure strict adherence to Quality Standards and implement best quality practices across all operations.
Provide theoretical training on relevant standards to shop employees to enhance quality awareness and compliance.
Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and report findings to Company Management, recommending corrective actions.
Manage, catalogue, update, and disseminate all quality documentation including technical specifications, procedures, and operational processes.
Streamline existing quality systems and software to improve operational efficiency and productivity in line with applicable specifications.
Monitor processes to identify defects and non-conformances, proposing and implementing process modifications to enhance operational efficiency.
Liaise with external auditors and third-party inspectors to achieve and maintain necessary qualifications and certifications.
Support and enforce compliance with Company policies, procedures, management standards, and applicable laws and regulations, including HSE requirements.
Protect company facilities, equipment, and physical resources from damage, theft, or misuse within the area of responsibility.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within industrial or manufacturing environments.
Strong technical knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards, with demonstrated ability to support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance.
Proficiency in relevant quality management software and tools used for documentation, analysis, and reporting.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, perform root cause analysis, and implement process improvements under pressure.
Experience in developing and delivering theoretical training on quality standards to operational teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with management, shop personnel, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Demonstrated capability to manage quality documentation, streamline quality systems, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in coordinating with third-party inspectors and external auditors to achieve and maintain certifications.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a quality culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to analyze operational threats and recommend modifications to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Commitment to safety excellence, including incident reporting, inspections, and participation in investigations.
