Job Summary

• Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented HMO Manager to oversee our relationships with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), insurance providers, and corporate clients.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HMO operations, optimizing claims and reimbursements, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving business growth through increased patient referrals and corporate healthcare collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with HMOs, insurance companies, corporate organizations, and healthcare partners.
• Negotiate, implement, and manage HMO contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements.
• Coordinate patient eligibility verification, pre-authorizations, referrals, and approvals for HMO enrollees.
• Oversee HMO billing, claims submission, reconciliation, and follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Resolve HMO-related issues, disputes, and patient concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify and secure new HMO partnerships and corporate healthcare opportunities to expand the clinic's client base.
• Monitor HMO utilization, outstanding claims, revenue performance, and key operational metrics.
• Work closely with the finance, front desk, and clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery for HMO patients.
• Prepare periodic reports on HMO activities, revenue, claims status, and partnership performance.
• Ensure compliance with HMO policies, contractual obligations, and relevant healthcare regulations.
• Recommend strategies to improve HMO operations, patient satisfaction, and revenue generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 – 5 years experience in HMO management, healthcare administration, health insurance, or business development within the healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of HMO operations, claims management, billing processes, and healthcare service delivery.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and healthcare management software is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and achieve operational and business growth targets.
