Job Title: Baker

Locations: Opebi, Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Days: Monday – Saturday
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

• We are seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our team in Opebi, Ikeja.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked pastries, maintaining consistent product standards, and supporting smooth daily bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
• Measure and combine ingredients accurately using mixers, ovens, and other bakery equipment
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations
• Manage stock of baking ingredients and report shortages promptly
• Inspect finished products for quality, texture, and presentation before they leave the kitchen
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets and deadlines
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all baked goods and raw materials

Requirements

• SSCE/OND or relevant culinary/baking certification
• 2–3 years' experience as a baker (bread-focused experience preferred)
• Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices
• Ability to work early hours and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Attention to detail, consistency, and a passion for quality baked products
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Must reside within or close to Ikeja/Opebi axis (preferred, due to work hours).

Benefits

• Salary: N80,000 – N120,000 monthly (based on experience)
• HMO (Health Insurance).
