Head of Maintenance at a Premier, High-performing Manufacturing Polypropylene Woven Sack Packaging Organization

To support our strategic growth objectives, we are seeking highly motivated, experienced, and result-oriented professionals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Maintenance

Location: Nigeria

Key Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance operations for heavy industrial plant machinery.
• Minimize plant downtime across the polypropylene extrusion, circular loom weaving, and automated finishing sections.
• Lead, mentor, and deploy technical teams to quickly troubleshoot complex mechanical faults and electrical system breakdowns.
• Manage the inventory of critical engineering spares, optimize maintenance budgets, and enforce strict factory safety protocols during engineering interventions.

Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of hands-on experience driving preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance operations for heavy industrial plant machinery.

General Requirements & Compliance:

• Industry Experience: Prior experience within a fast-moving manufacturing, polymer processing, or polypropylene woven sack packaging environment will be a distinct advantage.
