Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Farm Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of a commercial broiler farm.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in broiler production, farm management, and team supervision, with a strong focus on achieving optimal bird performance, biosecurity, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily broiler farm operations, ensuring birds are properly fed, watered, and managed.
• Monitor bird health, growth performance, and mortality rates, taking appropriate corrective actions where necessary.
• Implement and maintain strict biosecurity, animal welfare, and health & safety standards.
• Coordinate vaccination schedules, medication, and disease prevention programs in collaboration with veterinarians.
• Manage farm staff, assign duties, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor feed consumption, inventory levels, and farm supplies.
• Maintain accurate farm records, including production, mortality, medication, and inventory reports.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of poultry houses and equipment.
• Prepare regular operational and production reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Animal Science, Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience supervising a commercial broiler farm.
• Must have practical experience managing broiler production from day-old chicks to market weight.
• Sound knowledge of poultry nutrition, vaccination programs, disease control, and biosecurity practices.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
