Job Title: Senior Associate - Tax Advisory Services

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate – Tax Advisory Services to join our growing professional services team in Ilupeju, Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong technical tax knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide practical tax solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory and compliance services to corporate and individual clients.
• Conduct tax reviews, health checks, and due diligence engagements.
• Advise clients on the tax implications of business transactions and regulatory developments.
• Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and supporting schedules.
• Liaise with tax authorities on assessments, audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters.
• Support clients in implementing tax-efficient structures and processes.
• Research and interpret tax legislation, regulations, and emerging tax issues.
• Assist in developing tax strategies and advisory reports for clients.
• Support business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACTI, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in tax advisory, tax consulting, or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, including the Nigeria Tax Act, Nigeria Tax Administration Act, Withholding Tax Regulations, Transfer Pricing regulations, etc.
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant business applications.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
