We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Test Analyst

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To play a critical role in the software development lifecycle by ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
• You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot defects, write test cases, and execute test plans.
• Analyze requirements and design documents to understand product functionality.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering all aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, usability, and compatibility.
• Participate in PI planning and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
• Stay up to date on the latest QA methodologies and tools.
• Creating comprehensive test plans that outline the scope, objectives, and approach for testing software and systems.
• Writing detailed test plans and cases to cover various scenarios and ensure thorough testing of functionality, performance, and usability.
• Conducting both manual and automated tests to identify defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in software and systems.
• Documenting and reporting defects with clear and concise descriptions, including steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
• Performing regression testing to ensure that new code changes or updates do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Qualifications

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certification can be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 3 - 6 years of experience with software testing methodologies and test execution (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing).
