Pamper Fresh - We are a fast-growing consumer goods manufacturing company based in Yaba, Lagos State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are a fast-growing consumer goods manufacturing company seeking a proactive, organized, and digitally savvy Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate our day-to-day business operations.
  • The successful candidate will drive operational efficiency across production, inventory, procurement, logistics, customer service, and other core business functions.
  • Working closely with the HR & Administrative Officer and departmental heads, you will ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration, effective communication, and the achievement of operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the company's daily operational activities.
  • Drive collaboration between departments to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
  • Act as the primary operational link between management and departmental heads.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure production targets and timelines are achieved.
  • Coordinate inventory management, stock movement, and material availability.
  • Follow up on procurement requirements and operational supplies.
  • Oversee dispatch and logistics activities to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Work with customer service and sales teams to resolve operational issues affecting customers.
  • Ensure compliance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor operational KPIs and support departmental heads in achieving agreed targets.
  • Conduct regular operational review meetings and follow up on action points.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and coordinate timely solutions.
  • Monitor staff productivity and escalate performance or conduct concerns to the HR & Administrative Officer.
  • Identify manpower needs and communicate staffing requirements to HR.
  • Support HR in resolving attendance and employee-related operational issues.
  • Track departmental deliverables and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
  • Facilitate effective communication and information flow across departments.
  • Escalate significant operational risks and unresolved issues to the Managing Director.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Digital Skills

We are looking for someone who is comfortable using modern workplace and business management technology.

Experience with any of the following tools is an advantage:

  • ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, ERPNext, Zoho, SAP Business One)
  • Project management tools (Trello, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp)
  • Collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Chat)
  • Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Inventory, CRM, procurement, or other business management software
  • You do not need experience with every platform listed, but you should be confident using digital business tools and able to learn new systems quickly.

Performance will be evaluated based on:

  • Achievement of operational and production targets
  • Effective cross-departmental coordination
  • Reduction of operational delays and bottlenecks
  • Inventory and stock management efficiency
  • Timely order fulfillment and dispatch
  • Compliance with operational SOPs
  • Staff productivity monitoring and issue escalation
  • Timely completion of assigned tasks
  • Quality and timeliness of operational reports

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2 – 4 years' experience in operations, manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar environment.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and execution abilities.
  • Good leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate operational and management reports.
  • Proactive, accountable, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing business environment.

Salary
N220,000 – N250,000 per month.
