Job Title: Experienced Kitchen Assistant

Location: Lekki / Ikate, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Male Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations.
• The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the kitchen runs efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
• Support chefs and cooks in meal preparation and cooking activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Wash dishes, pots, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure proper storage of food items in line with hygiene standards.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a tidy work environment.
• Help with receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the chef or kitchen supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take instructions.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 / month.
