Job Title: Senior Architect

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly accomplished, licensed Senior Architect with minimum of 10 years experience, including a proven track record within a leading architectural firm.
•  In this role, you will champion the design vision, oversee premier multidisciplinary project teams, and serve as the primary technical expert and client liaison for high-profile Nigerian and international projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Spearhead complex architectural projects, ensuring innovative design concepts match technical feasibility.
• Project Management: Manage project schedules, resource allocations, and financial budgets from schematic design through construction.
• Quality Assurance: Review drawings and specifications to ensure structural integrity and absolute accuracy.
• Regulatory Compliance: Direct the navigation of Nigerian building codes, zoning laws, and municipal approval processes.
• Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for elite clients, managing expectations and presenting design iterations.
• Team Mentorship: Coach and develop junior and intermediate architects, fostering technical growth and design excellence.
• Site Supervision: Lead construction administration, conduct site visits, and resolve complex field issues directly with contractors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Mandatory active registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
• Affiliation: Full, active membership with the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA).
• Experience: 10 to 15 years of proven experience, with a substantial portion spent in a leading architectural firm.
• Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating leadership on high-end, complex, or large-scale projects.
• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in BIM (Revit), AutoCAD, and modern 3D rendering software.
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing elite project teams and coordinating with top-tier external engineering consultants.
