The Opportunity

• We are seeking an accomplished, visionary, and technology-driven executive to lead the Airport's digital transformation and build a secure, intelligent, and future-ready technology ecosystem.
• The Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIO/CDO) will provide strategic leadership for the Airport's Information & Digital Directorate, overseeing information technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, operational technology, data governance, smart airport systems, and digital innovation.
• Reporting to Executive Management, the successful candidate will drive the adoption of emerging technologies that enhance operational excellence, passenger experience, cybersecurity, and business performance.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement the Airport's Digital Transformation Strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead the planning, implementation, and management of enterprise ICT infrastructure, operational technology, and digital platforms.
• Oversee cybersecurity, information governance, data management, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation initiatives.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and availability of all critical airport technology systems and digital services.
• Drive the implementation of smart airport technologies, automation, digital passenger services, and enterprise applications.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations (NCARs), data protection laws, and international information security standards.
• Build and lead a high-performing technology team while promoting innovation, digital excellence, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• A Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration (MBA), Digital Transformation, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent recognised certifications will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years' progressive ICT and digital leadership experience, including at least 7 years in a senior executive or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise digital transformation, cybersecurity, ICT operations, data governance, cloud technologies, business intelligence, and technology-enabled business transformation.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and change management skills.
• Experience in aviation, airports, transportation, infrastructure, financial services, telecommunications, or other highly regulated industries will be an added advantage.
