We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HSEQ Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Core Responsibilities
HSSEQ in the office:

• Internal and external audits (in cooperation with purchase department) 
• Maintain the governing documentation valid for the office in Nigeria 
• Improvements of the Company Management System 
• Be part of the Emergency Response & Security Team 
• Arrange Emergency Response Exercises 
• Company Management Review
• Safety & Security induction training for new employees
• Risk Management Training 
• HSSEQ Training in general  
• Monthly HSSEQ reporting
• Monthly Office Inspection
• Interface with external auditors, Class, others on Nigeria office HSSEQ matters
• Follow up of incidents and NCs 
• Compliance with HSSEQ related rules and regulations 
• General security oversight & supporting the CSO / DPA locally.

HSSEQ on board:

• Follow up incident reporting on board
• Motivate to improve incident reporting on board 
• Maintain the governing documentation valid for the FPSOs 
• Facilitation of Risk Management sessions on board the Units 
• Risk Management training 
• Safety leadership training 
• HSSEQ training in general 
• Internal audits 
• Interface with external auditors, Class, others on Nigeria operations HSSEQ matters
• General security oversight & supporting the CSO / DPA locally.

Qualifications / skills

• Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, HSSEQ or other relevant disciplines
• Good people skills
• Fluent in English.

Working experience:

• Experienced in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry with proven service in the field of Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality Management
• A sound understanding of risk assessment and safety management systems
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISM and ISPS
• Proficiency in supervising Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Quality functions of an operational nature 
• Experience in managing safety and health campaigns and inhouse training programs to crew and staff
• Experience in auditing of an offshore operation, particularly FPSOs.
