The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing, admissions, and brand strategy that drives sustained pupil enrollment and retention.
The successful candidate will lead initiatives that increase the school's visibility, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and significantly grow student numbers while maintaining high retention of existing families.
This role is performance driven and requires a marketing leader with a proven ability to convert prospects into enrollments and deliver measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and student recruitment strategy aligned with the school's strategic objectives.
Increase pupil enrollment through innovative marketing campaigns, community engagement, partnerships, and lead generation initiatives.
Develop and execute strategies to retain existing pupils while improving parent satisfaction and loyalty.
Build and strengthen the school's brand identity across digital, print, outdoor, and community platforms.
Generate qualified admissions leads and improve conversion rates from inquiry to enrollment.
Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns across social media, Google, email marketing, website content, SEO, and online advertising.
Plan and coordinate Open Days, school tours, exhibitions, community outreach programmes, education fairs, and promotional events.
Establish strategic partnerships with organisations, estates, churches, corporate bodies, and community groups to increase enrollment opportunities.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and recommend growth strategies.
Work closely with the Admissions, Academic, Human Resources, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless admissions experience for prospective families.
Prepare annual marketing plans, budgets, and monthly performance reports for Management and the School Board.
Monitor marketing performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), including inquiry generation, conversion rates, enrollment growth, retention rates, return on investment (ROI), and customer satisfaction.
Manage the school's website, social media platforms, promotional materials, and all external communications to ensure consistency of brand messaging.
Identify and implement innovative marketing technologies, CRM systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, and automation solutions to improve marketing effectiveness.
Represent the school professionally at networking events, educational conferences, exhibitions, and stakeholder engagements.

Number of qualified admissions inquiries generated.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 7 years' progressive experience in marketing, business development, admissions, or brand management, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
Previous experience within the education sector will be an added advantage.
Demonstrable success in driving customer acquisition, business growth, or student enrollment.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems, SEO, social media management, email marketing, and content marketing.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, strategic planning, and project management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and modern digital marketing tools.
