Job Title: Senior Executive Assistant to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO)
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant to partner closely with our Managing Director/CEO and support the strategic objectives of the Executive Office.
This is more than a traditional Executive Assistant role. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and business-minded professional who will serve as a trusted partner to the MD/CEO, support the other executives (COO, CFO), providing strategic executive support while leading the Corporate Communications function for the Executive Office.
The successful candidate will manage executive priorities, coordinate strategic initiatives, oversee executive communications, engage key stakeholders, and ensure the seamless operation of the Executive Office.
Key Responsibilties
Provide strategic, administrative, and operational support to the MD/CEO.
Manage the MD/CEO's calendar, meetings, travel, and executive engagements.
Coordinate Board and Executive Management meetings, prepare agendas, presentations, reports, minutes, and track action items.
Draft executive correspondence, speeches, reports, business presentations, and briefing notes.
Lead the Corporate Communications function, ensuring consistent executive messaging and alignment with the company's brand and communication strategy.
Support media, investor, partner, and stakeholder communication materials where required.
Conduct research, analyse business information, and prepare reports to support executive decision-making.
Coordinate strategic projects and monitor execution across business units.
Serve as the primary liaison between the MD/CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
Review documents for quality, accuracy, and completeness before executive approval.
Supervise support staff within the Executive Office.
Handle highly confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Mass Communication, Corporate Communications, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related discipline.
Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience within Financial Services, Leasing, Banking, Mobility, Consulting, or other regulated industries will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 7 years' progressive experience supporting C-Suite executives in Executive Assistant, Executive Office Management, Corporate Communications, or similar senior roles.
Demonstrated experience supporting a CEO, Managing Director, Executive Director, or Board-level executive.
Proven experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Executive Communications, Public Relations, or Brand Communications.
Experience coordinating Board meetings and preparing Board papers is highly desirable.
Strong business writing, presentation development, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
Strong project management, planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and executive presence.
Knowledge of corporate governance, executive office operations, event management, media relations, and executive social media/LinkedIn management will be an added advantage.
