Benin Asaba Expressway is the holding company for the Concession Project awarded to APP(Africa Plus Partners Benin Asaba Expressway is the holding company for the Concession Project awarded to African Plus Partners by the Federal government of Nigeria to construct, maintain and manage the Benin Asaba Expressway.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil Engineer - Progress Monitoring

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress across allcivil works activities, including earthworks, pavement works, structures, and drainage.
• Compare actual site progress against approved project schedules, work programmes, and milestones.
• Collect, verify, and analyze progress data from site engineers, contractors, and supervisors.
• Prepare accurate progress reports, dashboards, and schedules for management and project stakeholders.
• Identify delays, productivity shortfalls, and critical path impacts, and flag risks to timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with planning, site, and discipline engineers to validate reported progress and quantities executed.
• Support the preparation of look-ahead schedules and recovery plans where progress deviates from targets.
• Assist in the measurement and certification of completed works in collaboration with quantity surveyors.
• Maintain organized records of progress measurements, site reports, and photographic evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration with a recognized engineering body is an advantage.
• 5–7 years’ experience in construction progress monitoring on civil or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience on highway, road, or large- scale infrastructure projects is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with project schedules, work programmes, and construction sequencing.
• Experience working with planning and quantity surveying teams is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods and productivity.

Salary
N600,000 Monthly.
