We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, coordination, and successful delivery of hotel development and construction projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader with strong project management expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to drive projects from conception through completion while maintaining compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of hotel development and construction projects.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Coordinate architects, engineers, builders, quantity surveyors, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress and ensure all milestones are achieved within approved timelines and budgets.
Oversee procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and other project resources.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, safety compliance, and adherence to approved designs and specifications.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational disruptions.
Monitor project costs and implement effective cost control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health and safety requirements, environmental standards, and company policies.
Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for executive management and stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations through effective communication, reporting, and issue resolution.
Facilitate project meetings, document action points, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables.
Drive continuous improvement by recommending innovative project management practices and operational efficiencies.
Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards while meeting business objectives
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years’ proven experience managing large-scale construction, infrastructure, real estate, or hospitality projects.
Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, construction processes, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, Microsoft Office Suite, or other project management software.
Strong understanding of health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements.
