GTI Microfinance Limited was incorporated in August 2007 as a limited liability company and started its operations in 2008 at No. 127 Obafemi Awolowo Road, Ikeja.

In October 2013, it was licensed as a State Wide Microfinance Bank and moved its Head Office to No. 4 Tinubu Street, Central Business District, Marina Lagos. Other branches are located at Mushin, Abattoir in Agege, Surulere and Arena.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Direct Sales Agent

Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Direct Sales Agent is responsible for driving customer acquisition by identifying and engaging prospective customers, promoting the Company's products and services, and converting sales opportunities into business.
  • The role requires building and maintaining strong customer relationships, achieving assigned sales targets, and ensuring all sales activities are carried out in compliance with the Company's policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new customers through direct marketing and field sales activities.
  • Promote and sell the Company's products and services to individuals and businesses.
  • Generate quality leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Open and onboard new customer accounts in line with established procedures.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products to existing and prospective customers.
  • Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer retention.
  • Provide customers with accurate information on products, pricing, and services.
  • Conduct market intelligence and identify business opportunities within assigned territories.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity reports.
  • Ensure all customer documentation is complete and compliant with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly or escalate where necessary.
  • Represent the Company professionally and uphold its brand image at all times.
