We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Architect - Home Customization

Location: Wuse, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive architectural designs for residential home customization projects.
• Conduct client consultations to understand design preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget constraints.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and design presentations.
• Integrate furniture layouts into architectural plans to optimize space utilization and aesthetics.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, production, installation) to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits for measurements, supervision, and project assessments.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building regulations and safety standards.
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, artisans, and vendors for project delivery.
• Review and approve design modifications during project execution.
• Stay updated on modern design trends, materials, and technologies in interior and architectural design.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc. or B.Tech) in Architecture or related field.
• Master’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design is an added advantage.
• Professional certification or membership with relevant bodies such as:
• Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON)
• Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is alslo an added advantage

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in architectural design, preferably in residential or interior design projects.
• Experience in home customization, interior architecture, or furniture-related projects is highly preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies:
Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCADfor 2D drafting and technical drawings.
• Strong expertise in 3D design software such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar tools.
• Ability to produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings.
• Knowledge of space planning and interior architecture.
• Understanding of furniture design integration within residential spaces.
• Familiarity with BOQ preparation and cost estimation.
• Knowledge of building materials, finishes, and construction methods.

Creative & Analytical Skills:

• Strong design creativity with attention to detail.
• Excellent spatial visualization and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to balance aesthetics with functionality.

Project & Communication Skills:

• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong presentation skills for client proposals.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing completed architectural and interior design projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable and smart home design solutions is an advantage.

Salary 
N300,000 - N500,000 per month.
