Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Reports To: Head of Operations / Managing Director
Organization: Health Maintenance Organization

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and solution-oriented IT Manager to lead our Information Technology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic management, security, and optimization of all IT systems that support our health insurance operations, claims processing, customer service, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the IT team and all technology infrastructure of the organization
• Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business objectives
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of core systems (core insurance platform, CRM, portal, etc.)
• Manage cloud infrastructure, networks, servers, and cybersecurity
• Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
• Support digital transformation projects and system integrations
• Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements
• Provide technical support and training to staff across all departments
• Ensure compliance with NDPR, CBN, NHIA, and other regulatory IT requirements
• Prepare IT budget and monitor expenditure
• Identify and implement new technologies to improve operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
• Minimum of 7 years post-NYSC IT experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
• Strong experience in the Insurance, HMO, or Financial Services sector is highly preferred
• Professional certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, Microsoft Azure, Cybersecurity, etc.) are an advantage
• Proven experience managing enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
