About the Role

• StaanBite Fast Food is recruiting an experienced and creative Chef / Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate must be skilled in Nigerian and fast-food dishes, able to work under pressure, maintain high hygiene standards, and ensure consistent food quality for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of meals (local dishes, fast food, breakfast items, grills, pastries, etc.).
• Ensure all meals are prepared to StaanBite standards in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain strict kitchen hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor food portions to reduce waste and maintain cost efficiency.
• Assist in planning daily/weekly menus.
• Supervise kitchen assistants and coordinate food preparation.
• Track and report food stock levels, ingredients, and supplies.
• Ensure timely meal preparation for customer orders.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an SSCE/OND; culinary training is an added advantage.
• 2–5 years proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a fast-food restaurant, eatery, or hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian dishes, snacks, and fast-food items.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask.
• Must be clean, disciplined, and passionate about cooking.
• Must live within or near Abule-Egba / Ijaiye / Iyana-Ipaja / Alimosho / Alakuko.

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary (based on experience): N80,000 - N90,000 / Month.
