Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Ogudu - Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• Our client’s Project Manager will oversee the company’s construction and fabrication projects from initial planning to completion.
• They will ensure the project finishes on time and within budget by managing timelines, allocating resources, and supervising on-site operations.
• They will also handle vendor negotiations and enforce strict safety and quality standards in alignment with the brand’s premium standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction site operations. Coordinate contractors, artisans, suppliers, and site workers.
• Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites.
• Supervise quantity and quality control. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Prepare real-time project reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure maximum compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
• De-escalate and Resolve site-related issues, ensuring smooth project workflow.
• Coordinate efforts across entire projects; between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors. Managing stakeholder and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields.
• 3–4 years’ experience in a similar construction/project management role
• Knowledgeable in BOQ design, detailing and material costing. Excellent at blueprints understanding and interpretation.
• Experience with Steel Fabrication and construction works.
• Proximity to Gbagada-Ogudu axis is PREFERRED.
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, lead procurement and control costs.
• Proficiency in project management and construction reporting tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with high level of accuracy in calculations.
• Fluent communication and emotional intelligence for team leadership.
• Excellent multitasking and time-management skills.
