Carlcare Development Nigeria Limited, formerly known as Tecno Telecoms - established in July 2006, is a high-tech company specializing in the R&D, production, sale and service of mobile communication products. After years of development, Carlcare Development has become an important part of the mobile phone industry and one of the major mobile phone manufacturers in the world. Currently, it has full ownership of three famous mobile phone brands TECNO, itel and Infinix, and an after-sales service brand Carlcare.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to lead digital marketing, brand communications, influencer partnerships, and marketing activations for a leading consumer brand in Nigeria. 
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Nigerian market, extensive experience managing social media campaigns, and the ability to execute high-impact marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Social Media:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create and manage content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and key seasonal events.
  • Grow online communities and improve customer engagement through relevant and localized content.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies using analytics and insights.
  • Keep up with digital trends, platform updates, and emerging consumer behavior.

Influencer & Creator Marketing:

  • Build and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, media personalities, and brand ambassadors.
  • Plan and execute influencer campaigns from talent selection through content delivery and performance reporting.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize influencer investments.
  • Maintain a strong network of partners across technology, lifestyle, entertainment, and consumer sectors.

Brand Activations & Events:

  • Lead the planning and execution of product launches, experiential marketing campaigns, exhibitions, roadshows, and other brand activations.
  • Coordinate with agencies, vendors, and event partners to deliver high-quality marketing activities.
  • Identify sponsorship and partnership opportunities that enhance brand visibility.
  • Measure and report on event performance and business impact.

Marketing Strategy:

  • Support the development and execution of annual marketing plans.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and trade marketing teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage marketing budgets and agency relationships.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of marketing experience, preferably within consumer electronics, FMCG, telecommunications, or other fast-moving consumer industries.
  • Strong experience in digital marketing, social media management, influencer marketing, and event execution.
  • Good understanding of Nigerian consumer behavior and the local digital landscape.
  • Existing relationships with influencers, media partners, and marketing agencies are an advantage.
  • Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using marketing and social media analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel within Nigeria when required.
