Description
- As Ecovia Limited undergoes rapid expansion—scaling our operations, vehicle assets, and green-energy conversion programs—we are looking for an agile, execution-driven Human Resource Specialist.

- ou will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruiting top-tier corporate and technical talent to structuring onboarding and performance tracking frameworks for our rapidly growing fleet managers, concierge operators, and driver networks.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead recruitment efforts to attract high-caliber talent across corporate business development, finance, and operations.
- Operational Staffing: Coordinate the sourcing and vetting of operational roles, including fleet managers, concierge dispatch officers, and support staff.
- Impeccable Onboarding: Design and implement structured onboarding experiences that align new hires with Ecovia’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and company culture.
Performance Management & Data-Driven HR:
- Operational Alignment: Collaborate with the fleet operations team to align HR performance standards with operational metrics
- KPI Management: Establish, track, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for corporate staff and on-the-ground operational teams to foster a culture of accountability and high performance.
HR Administration, Payroll & Compliance:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all HR policies, contracts, and practices strictly comply with Nigerian labor laws and industry regulations.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll processing, tax compliance, pensions, and health insurance (HMO) administration.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate, highly confidential physical and digital employee databases.
Employee Relations & Culture:
- Culture Champion: Actively shape and maintain a highly collaborative, inclusive, and motivating startup culture that values sustainability, execution, and initiative.
- Conflict Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, facilitating fair, constructive, and speedy resolutions.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM-CP, PHRi) are highly desirable.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a fast-scaling startup, logistics, mobility, or fintech company in Nigeria.
- Labor Law Expertise: Sound, up-to-date knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and employment regulations.
- Adaptability: Exceptional capability to bridge the gap between corporate executive teams and on-the-ground operational staff
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with modern HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and collaborative digital tools (Google Workspace, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Outstanding emotional intelligence, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
