We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Support Officer (Entry Level)

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, operating systems, software applications, and end-user devices, ensuring minimal downtime across plant and office operations.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment, including switches, routers, LAN/WAN connectivity, IP addressing, and other network-related issues.
• Support and maintain business applications and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP terminals, printers, scanners, and VoIP phone systems.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including UPS systems, network racks, IT earthing pits, and other critical hardware, to ensure optimal system performance.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, biometric attendance devices, and other plant-integrated IT/OT systems.
• Log, track, and resolve IT support requests within agreed service levels (SLAs), while maintaining accurate records of IT assets, peripherals, and networking equipment.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies by maintaining antivirus protection, performing software updates, and supporting IT activities during planned plant maintenance and shutdowns when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years' relevant experience in IT Support or a related role.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, IP addressing, and subnetting.
• Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Basic knowledge of network devices and their functions.
• Understanding of UPS systems, computer hardware components, and basic IT infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in an industrial/plant environment.
• Basic physical fitness to carry out plant floor activities in compliance with PPE requirements.
• Good communication skills with the ability to effectively support both technical and non-technical users.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 / month.
